Vixen was "chosen" when she was only a few hours old:)  Tyler picked her up and said "she's the one" and how true that has been! This duo have done some pretty amazing winning for youngsters and we are very, very proud of them both.
Vixen was shown exclusively in the Bred-by class by Tyler for both of her Championships.
In her puppy year of showing, she was reserve winners bitch and Best Puppy in Specialty Show at the tender age of 7 months at the first western Canadian Specialty.  She finished up her puppy year with her Canadian Championship before 9 months of age with several Group placements and 8 Best Puppy in Group wins and an All Breed Best Puppy in Show!
As a yearling, this team ventured out to obtain Vixen's ASCA Championship, which they accomplished with Major's to spare.
Their first Special's debut was at the 1999 ASCA Nationals held in Longview, WA .  Imagine how thrilled and proud we were to watch them strut their stuff and not only win one but TWO Premier 10's!
With Tyler missing so much school, I showed Vixen the following week after Nationals and Vixen won an All Breed Best in Show!!!  Vixen turned 2 years old shortly after and finished the show year by being a Multi Group Winner, Best of Opposite Sex in Specialty Show Winner and the #1 Bitch ~ #2 Aussie in Canada for 1999!
Vixen is the second bitch to ever win a BIS in Canada, with the first being her "auntie Brooke" MBIS Ch Caitland's Boot Scootn' Boogie  #1 Aussie in Canada in 1996
In 2000, Vixen whelped her first litter sired by Chip,
BISS Can Am ASCA Ch Blue Isle's Sure I'm Famous.
Vixen had her 7 kids in the whopping speed of 1 hour 15 minutes!!
Slightly stressful?? Naw...:)
But trust her to have them on April Fools day to make it memorable
With the anticipation of showing her daughter Hooker in Oct/00, we decided to bring Vixen out to show as well.  At the Alberta Working/Herding Specialty, Vixen showed up to win and win she did with the Herding Specialty Group 1st!
Hooker was Best of Winners at 6 months of age!!
With being out of the showring for the past 10 months, Vixen was having a blast "showing off" to her kids, so we decided to show her as well for the remainder of the year.  And we are sure happy we did, since Vixen attended the ASC of Alberta first Canadian Specialty and she was Best in Specialty Show!!  And probably our proudest win was Best Dam in Progeny Show!!
Vixen has earned her "queen of the heap" here at our place and
will make appearances at Specialty's only from here on in.
Over her short but illustrious show career,
she is one of Canada's top winning bitches.
Now to pass the leash onto her daughter, Hooker...
